Prof.Rao was earlier Professor and Head of the Department of Economics, University of Pune and RBI Chair Professor of Finance at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune. He was a Ford Foundation Research Scholar in USA for one year (1965-66) and associated with Wharton School of Finance and Commerce, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA as a teaching fellow. He has over 40 years of teaching and research experience in Economics, Finance and Insurance. He is Professor of Economics, Finance and Insurance and Dean at IIIF.

Dr. K Raja Gopal Reddy, Ph.D.,
Professor
He has more than 20 years of insurance industry and training experience to his credit in India and abroad. Dr. Raja Gopal Reddy is a 'Fellow' of Insurance Institute of India and Chartered Insurance Institute, London. He has wide expertise in Life Insurance, General Insurance and Risk Management domains.

Mrs. V. Padmavathi, M.Phil.,
Assistant Professor
She has more than 21 years of teaching experience in Economics and Commerce various colleges and institutes. She is an 'Associate' of Insurance Institute of India. Currently she is pursuing her Ph.D in ‘Life Insurance’. She is a faculty for Risk Management and Life Insurance.

Mrs. V. Jayalakshmi, M.Phil.,
Assistant Professor
She has more than 15 years teaching experience in Commerce and Business Management in different colleges.  She is a 'Fellow' of Insurance Institute of India. Currently she is pursing her Ph.D in Health Insurance. She is a faculty for General Insurance including Health insurance.

Mr. J.V.S.S. Kiran
Assistant Professor,  Assistant Registrar
A Graduate in Law and a Postgraduate in Management. He has more than 11 years of experience and his areas of interest include services marketing, pension planning, law and Information Technology. He is currently doing his PhD from J.N.T.U. Hyderabad in Retirement Planning. He is also coordinating the student placements.

Other industry professionals and experts from various organizations and IRDA also visit the Institute for interacting with the students.
